Cortney’s path to fiduciary advising is grounded in over 15 years of experience in insurance and Medicare. In 2015, she founded Sunflower Insurance Solutions (SIS), an independent brokerage that grew to become licensed in 12 states and partnered with more than 30 A-rated insurance providers. Through SIS, Cortney and her team helped hundreds of individuals navigate the complexities of health coverage.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Washburn University, Cortney pairs strong communication skills with deep financial and insurance expertise. She was recognized nationally as a top producer in the insurance industry for multiple consecutive years — a track record of trust she now brings to her work in retirement planning.

Committed to education and transparency, Cortney is active in her community as an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce and in leadership roles with various civic organizations.

Above all, Cortney values her greatest role — being a devoted wife to Shawn and a proud mother of four. Her commitment to family, integrity, and client advocacy is at the heart of everything she does.
